Don’t want to be a member

That’s fine there is no obligation to join, but as an association we represent and work directly with the allotment team at Portsmouth City Council. Ensuring that the site is managed effectively through liaison with the PCC representatives. We accompany the allotment officer on all site inspections and are able to inform the inspector of any relevant reasons why plots may not be in full operation (sickness, bereavement etc).

We also try and ensure that all plot holders are aware of any changes in governance either from the council or the association committee. That’s why we urge you to complete a contact form opposite select non member contact details, tick no payment required and submit your details so we can keep you informed of site business alternatively you can join the facebook group.

You can still utilise the shop for convenience but the prices are different from members prices. ie a 50 litre bag of quality compost costs members only £4.50…
